Stripy tee and Joggers

Hello!

After my last post on how Ashley Madekwe styled black leather joggers I decided to give them a try myself. So I picked these black chiffon joggers up from work for £15 In the sale, which is a complete bargain! They have a nice satin strip down the outside legs which adds a bit more detail to them. I love these they're so comfy, I have no idea why I didn't invest in some joggers before! I'm still a bit unsure with what to wear with these so if you have any pointers please let me know (: 

 I teamed them with this cropped stripy boxy tee and my new cut out boots I nabbed in the asos sale.

geometric pattern shorts

What a lovely day it is! 

I know I'm wearing the same white shirt as usually but its a staple, can never go wrong with a white shirt in my eyes! I decided to team it with these shorts I bought for my holiday from h&m but never ended up wearing.. oopsy. I'm trying to wear more of my wardrobe as I'm trying to be good and save some money for a holiday for my 21st in September! Eeek!

  I really like these shorts the geometric print is what really caught my eye as it adds a bit more detail to the look and feels more put together than just a plain pair of shorts. They're are also quite a nice length as they aren't insanely short so every thing isn't on show, for me and my long legs that's always a winner! 

I added my beloved yellow bag to bring a bit of colour back into the outfit.

A Pop of Pink

Hello my lovelies, 

Last night me and me sister went to see maleficent and oh my it was so good, I've become a little smitten with Angelina Jolie I just cant get over how gorgeous she looked and how well she played the role. Can I have cheek bones and lips like her please?!

I decided to wear my new jeans I picked up in the topshop sale, these are the jamie jeans and they are so damn comfy! They're ever so slightly high wasted which makes them really flattering and they are an ankle grazer which I do love in my jeans. I teamed them with my beloved Chelsea boots from asos, and a crisp white shirt. To add a bit of colour I decided to use this lovely fuchsia pink bag from h&m which I got for the wedding in Florence as it hasn't seen the light of day since. I think the little pop of colour brought the whole outfit together.

Weekly Wish List #4 Pattern trousers

From my last outfit post I said I really wanted some more pattern trousers so I've been browsing online over the last few days and here are the ones I'm loving! 

This first pair of trousers are so pretty I just love the print on these especially the blue pink/ green tones which are ideal for summer. As you can see these last three are black and white, but I think they would all be perfect with a crisp white shirt and maybe a red or pink lip to add a pop of colour to the outfit.

I've had such trouble with blogger the past few days it just hasn't seem to be working on my laptop or ipad but I'm hoping it shall be all okay now!

This outfit was from last Friday when I went to Middletons with Josh. I've been loving these pattern trousers again, I hadn't worn them in such a long time so when I found them tucked away I instantly whipped them out and teamed them with this lovely lemon cami top from primark which was a complete bargain at just £4!! I sized up a few sizes when I bought this so it fits really loose and floaty and as the trousers are quite tailored I think they complement each other quite well. I am loving this lemon colour this year it just seems brightens up and gives a bit of life to a simple outfit it also helps you look tanned which i love.

Hello my lovelies, 

Today I'm feeling very chic, there's something about stripes that you must team them with a red lip well for me anyway. I love this little crop top I got from work and it was only £7.99. I lived in this black floaty skirt whilst I was in Florence it was just so easy to chuck on with any top and I looked like I had put alot of thought in what I was wearing.. But sshh don't tell anyone that!  I've got some serious holiday blues still, I'd love to just jump on a plane and be somewhere hot and sunny with some kind of fruity cocktail in my hand soaking up the sun, forgetting about my maths exam I have coming up! 

I still adore my bargain bag buy from the topshop sale many months ago, its so perfect for the summer and it just seems to be going with everything lately. Its also the perfect size so I don't end up carrying my entire life around with me. On my nails I have Barry M Gelly Shine in Rose hip on, and I have been wearing this none stop, from a distance you think its a white polish but actually its a very very light pastel pink. I love it!

I have no idea where the last 11 days went since my last post! I've been insanely busy with work last week and I managed to blag the bank holiday off for once so took full advantage! Hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend.

I popped into primark last week before I started work and spotted this amazing floaty daisy midi skirt for just £10! I've never owned a midi skirt or really been into them that much but I think this one has changed my mind, I absolutely love it. So i had to pick it up and as I'm off to Florence in May it would be ideal for little days/trips out. I may have to do another sneaky little trip to primark this week to find some more of these pretty skirts!

Hello Guys!

I picked up this dress from the Zara sale a few months back and I absolutely love it! Its such a pretty girly dress lovely for the summer too but at the moment its still a little chilly in Norwich so I teamed it with my leather jacket from topshop and also this bowler hat which is from h&m. This was another find hidden away in my wardrobe.. think I need to have clear outs more often with all these goodies I keep coming across! I don't usually wear hats as I have such a small head I think sometimes it can just look silly but this one actually sits quite nicely and doesn't make my pea head look any smaller! 

So glad that spring is slowly on its way so I can actually wear these pretty dresses i have.. I've had enough of this chilly weather! I also am wishing may would hurry up for my holiday to Florence :)

A Dash Of Mint

This morning whilst rummaging to find something to wear i spotted this skirt in a draw full of summer things, and thought I'd let it see the light of day. I only wore this a few times in the summer as I didn't think it suited me or if I like the dipped hem at the back..but I thought id give it another try and teamed it with this cute jumper and my well loved/ battered h&m boots, its a cute floaty and girly daytime outfit. I got this off ebay for the small price of £6 there is so many on there so worth a gander (: I've been wearing my hair very wavy lately which is probably damaging it again but I just love the wavy tousled  look! I'm in need of  a some new hair products actually if you've got any recommendations then please let me know!

My Wardrobe Is Narnia..

     

Hello!

I decided to have a good old sort out of my wardrobe, I have so many clothes and most I don't actually wear, you wouldn't believe half the things I found hidden away in there. Whilst pulling all sorts out I found this little gem stashed away at the back and oh my look how pretty it is!! I think I got this about January last year from h&m and obviously completely forgot about it as it still had the tag on and everything. I have fallen in love with this dress and the amazing floral patten all over it. The little cut out on the back just adds a little bit extra to the dress and I just simply adore it! And as always I have my trusty h&m boots on.

Wishing For Spring

Hello my lovelies,

I know I'm very late on the band wagon with the whole pink coat trend but for me I didn't really like the boyfriend style type that I saw everywhere or the really bright pink coats. I wanted something a bit different and when this came into work last Wednesday I had to snap it up! Its a beautiful dusty pink with no collar and slightly puffy sleeves but not too puffy that makes you look like you've got big ol' shoulders pad on.. I absolutely adore this coat and for spring its going to be perfect. Another reason I love this is the fact i picked it up for a measly £22 its originally £34.99 so its not to pricey either (: I also picked up these amazing metallic silver shoes in the topshop sale for £7 they're so pretty with the pointed toe and cut out sides! Just wish it was a little warmer now, hurry up spring!

Pattern Trousers

Wait, what a post from emily?! Yes I know my lovelies its been a long time! I've had a few months break so much was going on at once that it was just getting to be too much for me, so I decided to take a step back from blogging but I've missed it rather alot so now I'm back with just a quick outfit post. I had a meeting to go to today and needed something smart to wear so I picked up these amazing patterned trousers from h&m for a measly £14.99!! I love these so much, they're slightly high waisted and are well suppose to be ankle grazes but as im 5ft9 they come to my calf.. but I still like them none the less! I teamed them with a simple white shirt and my beloved boots which are both from h&m.

Baroque Print

Hello Lovelies, 

Hope your all enjoying the bank holiday weekend! I know its been while since my last posts, I apologies I needed a bit of a break from everything all I seem to do is work and not much else at the moment which means I haven't seen much of the summer but that hasn't stopped me shopping which hasn't been to good for my bank account. Ooops.. I picked up these trousers from work in the sale for £7! I love the baroque print and the autumn colours even though its still august..It's just around the corner so it's fine! For now I've teamed them with a basic black t shirt and some pumps and when the weather starts changing I'm thinking of putting these with a knitted jumper, leather jacket and some boots for a lovely autumn look. I've brought a fair bit lately so there shall be many outfit post coming over the next few weeks!

Hello lovelies! 

Today was the day I finally got my hair cut after a year.. yes I know a year is a long time but I've had some horrendous trips to the hair dressers over the last three years so I haven't been one to go regularly. Especially after having a horrible boy short hair a few years back.. lets just say that it didn't look good what so ever! I didn't have too much of the length and just had it shaped a bit more round my face and layered as it was very flat and lifeless really but I really like it, one of the nicest cuts I've had it years. Also today I'm sporting some of my amazing sale finds from work (h&m), our sale launched last week and I have been slowly putting pieces aside in the hold cupboard. One was this amazing jacket for £15 from £30 which I simply love! Its such a statement piece with such a gorgeous print that can up lift the basic of outfits. I teamed it with this black chiffon tunic I also got in the sale for £7 which I think can easily be worn day or night and especially with the jacket. I decided to tone down the outfit with these lovely sandals I also got from work for again £7, Its not the summery-est of outfits but I love all the pieces I got! I did get a few more bargains from the sale so you'll see them soon. Definitely go check your nearest H&M and see if you can find some bargains too!

Wish List

Red Sunflower dress, Heart Patterned shirt , Cut Out shoe, Statement Necklace

Hello Lovelies, 

There's no excuse to where I've been lately I'm so sorry! But today I have a small wish list for you, I've been eyeing up some things lately and hopefully I'll have more money to splurge out occasionally soon so here is what I hope to pick up, feel free to buy me them too.. The dress is so pretty for the summer well if we actually get one..but its out of stock everywhere as soon as its back I'm having it! I do love shirts and this one is so cute with the heart print, I think I could easily where it for any occasion. I've seen the cut out heel boots every where lately and I'm not one to wear heels being 5 ft 9or10 I don't need the extra hight but these cut out brogues I spotted on ASOS and immediately thought I need these! At work (h&m) we have been getting some lovely pieces of jewellery in lately this statement necklace is one, I love the mix of spikes with the gold and silver chain.
