A Little Haul

Hello Lovelies!

Whilst trying to get my Christmas shopping started, I picked up a few little things for my self..

I popped into boots and picked up a fair few things, starting with some neutrogena products, I'd tried out their plain visibly clear oil free moisturiser and really liked it, and heard good things about the grapefruit one so going to give this one a try. Also from their visible clear range I got their 2in1 wash and mask, I've tried it a few times, and as a mask I really like it! I Finally have had my brace off after nearly two years and this white glo tooth paste was one of my first purchases, I want to look after my teeth more now after having it off and as i drink a lot of tea and coffee I thought this would help keep them clean and sparkling white! I picked up a few nail polishes I know I really don't need any more.. but I really wanted to try out the new Barry M Gelly high shine nails, so picked up this one in watermelon, and I love the colour, its a  deep bottle green, its soo pretty!  I also picked up this silver glitter, and have worn it over a nude MUA nail polish and its soo lovely together.

I picked up a few winter warmers from primark, these pyjama bottoms are soo comfy, I love the prints on them too. Primark always has a really good selection of sleep wear and for £5 each I couldn't say no! I love getting cute pattern socks around Christmas and these ones from H&M are so cosy, shall be picking some more of these up!

Lush Cupcake Face Mask Review

Hello!

I've been using this face mask from lush lately and I absolutely love it! This mask is aimed at oily and teenage skin to help absorb oil and control your break outs which is exactly what my skins needs desperate help with. It contains cocoa butter, linseed, cocoa powder along with peppermint, spearmint and sandalwood, it also has little beads in it to exfoliate your skin. The mask is just lovely and feels like its actually working whilst its drying. After using it my skin is left feeling super soft, smooth and cleansed, plus it smells absolutely amazing, just want to eat it!

Have you tried this face mask out, what are your thoughts?

Haul for Y'all

Hello Lovelies!

I went shopping.. again! I was pondering around boots getting the essentials when I saw they had a 3for2 on hair care, and as my hair is in need of some loving I brought a few things.

I absolutely love the Aussie brand, such lovely products that do exactly what it says on the tin! I re-stocked up on Miracle Moist, my hair is soo dry its need that extra helping hand and this shampoo definitely helps to hydrates my hair. I picked up this conditioner from dove, this is their Nourishing oil care express treatment. I have such dry ends due to dip dying my hair many months back, and I'm hoping this treatment will give my hair a little boost, and it smells so scrummy! I also picked up this Tony and Guy sea salt spray, I've been umming and ahhing about sea salt spray as i have such straight flicky hair that it may not work, but I'll give it a try and see if it does the job. Finally beauty wise I brought this Garnier replenishing lotion,  I needed a new body cream soo thought I'd give this one a whorl.

I then went over to Primark and picked up a few little bits.

I've been wanting a check shirt for ages, but can never find one that I actually like, I saw this one in Primark and loved it so had to buy it! I really want to put some studs on the collar too. I also picked up this jumper, as its starting to get a little chilly, I thought I best start buying warmer clothes. This jumper is soo cosy and I just love it! Finally I got this chunky scarf, I absolutely love the colour burgundy during the colder months, and this is just perfect for those wintery days.

Hope your  all having a nice day!

No 7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream Review

Recently I've been trying to find a moisturiser that will help tame my oiliness but can not seem to find one to do the trick. I spotted this day cream by No 7 in Boots the other day on one of my many ventures a week in there.. I had a few £5 off vouchers to use and as I already use the exfoliator and cleanser from No 7 which I loved so why not try the day cream. As this is aimed at oily/combination skin No 7 says that the product is a light, non pore blocking moisture cream to hydrate whilst balancing oil production and preventing breakouts. And after a few weeks I can say that its a good day cream, the fact its quite light, I don't feel like my face has soo many products on it. It's also helped the small dry patches I get but I can't say that's its done much for my oiliness.. its helped a little bit and my skin has seemed a lot brighter and spot free since using it along with my other No 7 products however the oiliness is still in need of taming. I would recommend this product maybe to those who haven't got such oily skin as myself and at £12.50 its worth a go especially with a £5 off voucher!

Have you tried any of the No 7 Beautiful skin range, what's your thoughts on them?

Staple Skin Care Products

Hello!

Over the years I have tried many different products on my face, from Garnier, Neutrogena , Simple, Niva and so on.. Always changing to different ones trying to find products that will help combat my oiliness! Recently I've been using products from the no7 beautiful skin range for oily skin types and i must say they are really rather good! I'd never really used no 7 before, I was always given those £5 off vouchers and not used them or thrown them away, but after hearing a lots of good things about No7 I decided to give them a go! I have the foaming cleanser and the purifying exfoliator and I really like both of these products. The foaming cleanser is so soft and gentle on my skin yet removes all the dirt, make up and imperfections that my skin has attracted during the day. The exfoliator is soo lovely too! It has tiny little grains in it to scrub away all the dead skin cells and its not harsh like many other scrubs I have used and the smell is not over powering either. I find it so gentle on the skin its so nice and softening! For a toner I use the Botanics rose water toning spritz which I absolutely love, It's so smooth, refreshing, tightens pores, and has even given my skin a bit of brightness! Can't say enough good things about it. Finally as I am prone to getting spots, I use the Lush Grease Lightning spot treatment in the mornings after I've cleansed and toned as a serum. It zaps away my spots and keep them under control! Using all these products along side each other I have found that my skin has been feeling a lot better, my spots are being reduced and my oiliness is under control. I love every single product and would recommend each and every one of them!

Have you tried any of these? what did you think of them?
