My Perfect Winter Coat

Over the past few weeks I've been looking for my new winter coat as it has got very chilly very quickly and since September was quite warm I haven't exactly prepared for these cooler months ahead, so I've been on the hunt ever since and we had an offer at work for the staff where you could get 50% of a coat. Which is a amazing offer so after work I went to go try on a fair few but nothing was catching my eye, so I popped over to Zara on my was home and spotted this beauty. And oh my I love this coat so much!

From the faux fur, to the olive green shade, to the shape, its just perfect and is super cosy. Once I tried it on I couldn't say no... Its from their TRF Range, It wasn't the cheapest but wasn't that expensive for a coat that needs to last all winter. It was £79.99 which I think is quite reasonable for a coat and I still had some money left over from my birthday so thought I'd treat myself on this.

I can't wait to wear this and feel all snug!

Hope you're all having a lovely day.

A Little Trip To: Amsterdam

Hello Lovelies,

On the 15th September me and Josh went to Amsterdam for a little birthday get away, I've always wanted to go and especially after our little stop off there before we went to Italy in May, I thought that for my 21st it was the idea city break!

We stayed at the Lloyd cultural embassy Amsterdam, the hotel is set in the Eastern Docklands Area which is about a 10 minute tram ride from the centre of Amsterdam. It was so quaint and quiet, but with plenty of little bars and restaurants in the surrounding areas. We didn't spend that much time in the hotel it's self as it was only a few minutes away from the centre, we were mostly out exploring Amsterdam.

Amsterdam its self if a lovely city with all the quint shops, canals and various things to do. It's very compact so its quite easy to get to where ever you need to be either on foot which we did mostly or by tram or even by bike which seemed to be how every one got around. They all have old fashioned styled bikes, i loved it!

We had a few things we wanted to do in mind before we went and one was the Anne Frank house. We wanted to book online before hand but we just couldn't get the tickets so we decided to go as soon as it opened at 9 and we were in there by half past so if you can't get tickets before hand I'd say definitely try and go as soon as it opens. The exhibition is superb, It's certainly very moving and its hard not to get caught up with emotion of her story and how horrendous it would of been for her and her family.

We also went to the ice bar in Amsterdam and oh boy it was a chilling experience, i was not dressed for the occasion as it was so hot all week there that I didn't even think to dress warm for it! After the ice bar we had booked a pizza canal cruise, it was so lovely and a chilled way to see the city during the evening.

After spending the week there, I have to say that I love Amsterdam its by far one of my favourite cities, it has so much to offer. I'd definitely go back again!

Here are a few pictures from our trip!

The View from our room!

 Cocktails in the ice bar.

Trying not to think about how unbelievable cold it is!

Little stop at a place called Grass-hopper which is right near the centre.

Hope you all have a great day!
